Where Have You Been Visiting? Here's My Top Ten...

Google Analytics reports these to be the top ten most popular posts since I started writing Drop It & Eat in May 2010. What do you think?

"Aren't I Most Popular?"

What are your personal favorites? Perhaps today’s a good day to read over some of the 165 posts covering topics from recipes to facts about weight management, black and white thinking, reading between the lines when looking at research, recipes and more!

Thanks for another year of reading, commenting, and sharing on Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Google Plus! It’s great having your help spreading these messages and doing our part to counter the unhealthy misinformation and disordered thinking out there. Please keep spreading the word!

  1. I've done a lot of things in my life to lose weight but the idea of colonic irrigation for weight loss is just appalling. I can't imagine being vegan, I like cheese and meat too much. I'm a bit curious about the gluten thing. I know that according to research it only affects those with celiac disease but I've heard a couple others with fibromyalgia state that getting off it makes a difference in pain and how they feel. I know me being off diet soda makes a difference in how I feel so I try to drink it rarely if at all.

    1. We an certainly drive ourselves crazy with all the supposed claims about diets and weight management--particularly at this time of the year!

  2. I like #8. I read Andrea's Voice years ago and thought it was a great book.

As for a colonic for weightloss...um, no thank you. I will never have a colonic, but if I did, it would be for the purpose of cleaning all of that crap out of my body. I've had one colonoscopy in my life already, and while it's much different than a colonic, I don't feel any need to people inserting things into my butt unless I need to. Actually, I wonder if those are even a good thing to have for people who have things like Ulcerative Colitis, which I have.
