I've done a lot of things in my life to lose weight but the idea of colonic irrigation for weight loss is just appalling. I can't imagine being vegan, I like cheese and meat too much. I'm a bit curious about the gluten thing. I know that according to research it only affects those with celiac disease but I've heard a couple others with fibromyalgia state that getting off it makes a difference in pain and how they feel. I know me being off diet soda makes a difference in how I feel so I try to drink it rarely if at all.
ReplyDeleteWe an certainly drive ourselves crazy with all the supposed claims about diets and weight management--particularly at this time of the year!
DeleteI like #8. I read Andrea's Voice years ago and thought it was a great book.
ReplyDeleteAs for a colonic for weightloss...um, no thank you. I will never have a colonic, but if I did, it would be for the purpose of cleaning all of that crap out of my body. I've had one colonoscopy in my life already, and while it's much different than a colonic, I don't feel any need to people inserting things into my butt unless I need to. Actually, I wonder if those are even a good thing to have for people who have things like Ulcerative Colitis, which I have.
Awesome posts.. I just went through half of them already and thought I'd let you know!
ReplyDeleteWhat I love most about the posts is Weight Watchers Beware! this had been an eye opener for me. Thanks!
